The comet, the host, and everyone who knocks after the crash.

Sucker for Love: Crush Landing is a smaller dating cast than First Date’s three-chapter girlfriend run, and a tighter stage than Date to Die For’s family of goats and cultists. You get one comet, one tired host, and a city that will not stay out of the hole in the wall. This hub is who’s who. Romance tactics live in how to romance Hheily. Door tactics live in the puzzle walkthrough.

Pages

  • Hheily — Colour Out of Space, Halley pun, shapeshifter, flame that eats pigment.
  • The protagonist — 1990s host, peeling hand, professional charm on a short fuse.
  • Supporting cast — Flora, Scam Likely, Backwards Man, Mina, pets, firefighters.
  • Flora — flowers and Shrinking Violet.
  • Maria — the rare side date.

Why the book is gone

Akabaka told Niche Gamer that Crush Landing’s love interest is not a god. The Colour Out of Space is an Eldritch Oddity, which is why there is no Necronomicon and no chant list. You do not summon Hheily. She crashes. You do not pledge. You feed. That design choice is the difference between Ln’eta’s pink journal and a fridge full of grapes.

Series veterans will still look for Buck, Muu, Rhok’zan, Nyanlathotep. Fan comments already spin theories that the host is an alternate Buck or that the neighbor is a shoggoth. Treat those as theories. This wiki’s character pages stick to what the third game puts in the apartment.

Tone of the cast

Hheily is gentler than a fertility goat and less fluent than a Cthulhu girlfriend who has been practicing English via ritual. The host is meaner to himself than he is to her. Visitors split into restocks and parasites. The darkness is not a date; it is the thing that followed her trail from beyond space and time, according to the store page.

If you are here because a knock happened and you do not know whether to slam, skip the lore and open supporting cast. If you are here because you want to know whether Hheily is “the colour” or Halley’s Comet, open her page. If you are here because the peeling hand is stressing you out, the protagonist page will not heal it, but it will tell you why the game thinks that wound is funny.

Cast and endings

Who you admit changes which title card you get. Flora belongs on a true ending file. Scammers belong on the other side of a slammed door. Maria, if you chase the launch thread, belongs on a copy. The host-only neutrals happen when you treat everyone — including the comet — like customers. See neutral and bad endings.

Voice acting is a character trait in this series. Launch comments called out Lenval Brown among the cast. Play with voices on once. Hheily’s broken English is worse as text and better as a performance.

When new names appear in a patch, they will land on updates first, then here. Until then, three pages are enough: the girl made of colour, the man who let her eat his hand, and the hallway.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Hheily in the earlier Sucker for Love games?

No. She is the Crush Landing love interest. Ln’eta, Estir, Nyan, and Rhok’zan are other entries.

Do I need a character tier list?

No. There is one primary date. Visitor value is a yes/no slam, listed on supporting cast.

Is the protagonist Buck?

The Steam page and previews present a host. Fan theories exist. This wiki treats him as the Crush Landing host unless the game names him otherwise.

Where is the romance guide?

On how to romance Hheily. This hub is identity, not tactics.
