Full Walkthrough

This is the companion walkthrough for Sucker for Love: Crush Landing on Steam. It is written for a first full-game file that still wants the romance, not for a 100% achievement dump. Keep a second save for fails. For named ending flags, use all endings and the true ending page. For the pantry, use the colored items list.

The embedded video is a no-commentary full-game upload that includes a true ending. Use it when text is not enough. Pause before every unique color.

1. Host intro and the walk home

Let the monologue play. You are a host in the early 1990s, taking a work “date” home, already sure you will die young in this job. The game is loading theme: empty charm, a city that looks at you, a life small enough for a meteorite to ruin. Skip only on a replay.

When you turn back toward the club, the impact hits. The apartment does not explode. A glowing rock sits in a hole that used to be a wall. Phone a friend. Researchers from the university are “on the way.” That promise becomes a timer. You are now in the loop taught by how to play.

2. Meteorite prompt — do this on the romance file

Inspect the rock. Choose to touch it with your hand. Your hand loses color and starts to peel. That is success. Hheily can manifest.

Do not use “something else” on this file. That branch ashes the body and ends courting, as documented in the getting started guide and in neutral and bad endings. If you want the joke, duplicate the save first.

3. First conversation and the collapse back to stone

Talk. Introduce useful words. Hheily is confused, gentle, and parroting you. Do not skip her first human-form scene; her later vocabulary is built from it. Then she returns to meteorite form. The flame bar and color dots appear. Assistance is still coming. Work.

4. Inventory before the first feed

Orbit the 360 apartment. Note grapes, gifts, plant, crawfish, fridge, freezer, counters, anything orange like fish food. Write which HUD dots you can already fill. Read how to feed Hheily if this is your first file. The rule is one color once unless a visitor restocks it.

Feed a duplicate or restockable hue only if the bar is dropping. If the bar is stable, wait for knocks.

5. Door events

Flora: take the colored flowers. She is the named restock in preview coverage.

Scammer / unsavoury man: slam the door. You are not required to be polite to someone selling you your own disaster.

Later knocks are hungrier. People and other things want the flame. Treat every new face as a resource check, then look them up on supporting cast if you do not recognize the name. Maria, discussed in launch threads as a dating question, is a side branch. Do not spend unique comet food on her until Hheily is stable.

6. Through the demo wall

The February demo ends after you have chased at least one item of each required color and seen a true-demo or neutral close. If you are on a demo file, stop and start the paid game. If you are on the full game, the story continues in the same apartment logic: keep the glow, manage guests, and deal with the darkness that followed her trail. Official copy promises multiple endings from your actions, not a single corridor.

Store descriptions and localization pages refer to chapter-shaped storytelling (the Brazilian page says three chapters of Lovecraft comedy and romance). Play each new chapter the same way you played the first hour: save, inventory, talk, then feed.

7. Late-game posture (no fake step list)

Launch week is not the moment to invent a 40-step God-ending exploit. Community posts already claim a God ending, a bugged secret, and missing gallery tools. What we can instruct without lying:

  • Keep Hheily lit if you want the romance close. Starving or extinguishing her is how you tour fails.
  • Do not ignore the darkness copy on the store page. Something followed her. Feeding her is how you stay on the light side of that fight.
  • When a prompt offers a kiss, you should already have unique colors banked and a save from two minutes earlier.
  • Watch the embedded full walkthrough for the exact late clicks if your HUD does not match this text after a patch.

8. After the credits

Tick the ending on the ending checklist. If it was not the smooch you wanted, reload the pre-kiss save and read true ending. If it was a named demo leftover (Host, Got Off Easy, Blackout), the demo walkthrough explains how you got there so you can avoid it on the next file.

Crush Landing is single-player. Your only race is against the flame bar. Take it slow enough to hear Lenval Brown and whoever else they hired say the stupid, tender lines. The walkthrough is here so the grapes do not steal that scene.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Does this full walkthrough include every fail?

No. It is a romance-forward route. Fails are listed in neutral and bad endings and the demo walkthrough.

Can I follow the YouTube video instead of the text?

Yes. The embed is a full-game no-commentary run. Pause before unique colors so you do not copy a waste.

Where do I go if I am stuck on a color?
Is the God ending in this route?

Launch players mention a God ending. We will not invent steps. Check all endings as reports stabilize.
