Neutral and Bad Endings

Not every Crush Landing close is a kiss. Most of the memorable ones are jokes about how fast a host can ruin a colour. This page is the fail museum. Play these on copies. Keep the romance file documented on true ending. Demo timestamps are on the demo walkthrough.

Ash — “something else”

The first prompt is a trap with a label. Touching the meteorite with something other than your hand turns the host to ash. PC Gamer burned a run on it so you could read this instead. You do not meet Hheily. You do not feed grapes. You get a story about a man who could not keep it in his professional boundaries.

Steam users want an achievement for this. If it exists among the 19, it is a one-file gag. Create ash-touch, do the bit, delete or keep the screenshot, return to a hand file.

Not touching at all is a different weird branch in preview coverage (a double of the protagonist). Still not the date. Still not true.

Blackout

The flame dies. Colors leave the apartment, then the world. You can get here by neglect (bar hits zero while you admire the 360 art) or by panic (dumping the last unique hue, then having nothing legal to feed). Playthroughs of the colour-drain mood belong here even when the uploader does not use the word Blackout.

Repair: reload before the panic. Prevention: how to feed Hheily and the puzzle walkthrough.

Host

A neutral where you remain what the intro said you were: a host. You managed the room, you maybe kept people from rioting at the door, and you never paid the comet’s price. Blonke’s all-endings video starts on this title card. If your close feels socially competent and spiritually empty, you are probably here.

Got Off Easy

The universe lets you out with a discount. You did not ash, you did not fully Blackout, and you did not commit. Under-feeding plus refusing ugly costs is the usual path. It is a good screenshot and a bad romance.

Worth It

Players listing demo neutrals include Worth It next to Host and two grey cards. In First Date, Worth It was a voyeur joke. In Crush Landing, treat it as a curiosity close you might pop by poking something you were told not to poke. It is not the smooch. Log it on the ending checklist and move on.

Extinguish / refuse the life

Some runs test putting the glow out on purpose. The prompt will sound like control. It is a fail with better posture than Blackout. Hheily asked you to feed her so the planet does not go dark. Saying no is a story. It is not true.

How these fails connect to systems

CloseUsual causeRepair
AshWrong first touchNew file, hand
BlackoutFlame to zero / no legal colorsReload pre-feed, take Flora
HostStay professional, never commitTalk, feed, stay for the cost
Got Off EasyLeave early, underpayContinue the wait, unique hues intact
Worth ItJoke inspect / curiosityAccept it, do not overwrite true
ExtinguishYou chose the snuff promptReload pre-late

None of these require a ritual circle. All of them require a spare save. Crush Landing is single-player; the only person you can grief is future you.

After you have the museum

Go back to how to romance Hheily and play like you want the girl, not the title card. When you are ready to tick remaining names, including launch-week God and Maria reports, return to all endings. The updates hub is where we will note it if a patch renames these cards or finally adds a gallery so this page can shrink.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is Blackout an instant game over?

It is a fail corridor, not always a single frame of death. The glow going out is the tell. Reload if you wanted true.

Should I get ash on my main file?

No. Duplicate before the meteorite prompt. The getting started page exists for this reason.

Are Host and Got Off Easy the same ending?

No. Separate title cards in the demo compilation. Host is professional. Got Off Easy is a cheap escape.

Where is the true close?

On the true ending page. Do not hunt it on a file you already starved.
