Colored Items List

Players asked for a list of colored items the week Crush Landing launched, because the HUD dots do not come with a legend. This page is that list, limited to objects named in previews, interviews, and playthroughs. If a wiki invents twenty extra snacks, it is guessing. We would rather send you back into the 360 apartment to look.

Pair this table with how to feed Hheily and the puzzle walkthrough. For where items sit in the story, use the full walkthrough.

How to read the HUD

After Hheily is active, a cluster of color dots sits on the interface next to heart markers and the flame bar. Each dot is a pigment you must still satisfy or have already banked. A spent color does not want a second gift of the same hue. That is why this list cares about uniqueness more than about calories.

If a dot is empty, orbit. If every physical instance of that color is gone and the dot is still empty, you either missed a prop, missed Flora, or already spent the hue on the wrong joke.

Confirmed items

ItemColor roleWhere to lookNotes
GrapesPurpleFruit bowl / counterNamed by PC Gamer. Easy first waste.

HouseplantGreenLiving areaThe world already mutates plants around Hheily. Feeding one is on-theme.
CrawfishBlueFridge / freezer / seafood plateOpen cold storage. Do not assume the kitchen is flavor.
Flora’s flowersVariable restockFront door visitorTake them. Best named refill.
Fish foodOrange / pigment jokeNear pet or kitchen clutterPlaythroughs call out beta-carotene. Treat orange as its own dot.
Magazine / printed girlForm, not foodMagazines in the apartmentUsed to prompt a shapeshift, not as a color spend.
Fridge and freezer leftoversMixedKitchenPC Gamer: plenty of items. Plenty is how you overfeed.
Bath clutter / novelty bombsMixedBathroomPlaythroughs joke about eating things that were not food. Inspect before you feed.

Steam’s own screenshot language shows a drained, peeling hand beside the meteorite. Your hand is not an item you should keep feeding. It is the cost of entry from getting started.

Items that are not food

  • The meteorite itself — destination, not ingredient.
  • Hheily’s human form — do not try to “feed” the girl. Feed the flame when she is stone.
  • Visitors — you are not offering Flora to the rock. You are taking her flowers.
  • The darkness — store copy says something malevolent followed her. That is an antagonist, not a color.

If a prompt asks you to offer “something else” at the first touch, that is the ash gag, not a pigment. See neutral and bad endings.

Search order that actually works

  1. Full 360 orbit at eye level.
  2. Fridge, then freezer, then counters.
  3. Plant, gifts, fruit, seafood.
  4. Bathroom and any pet-food pile.
  5. Door. If Flora has not knocked and you are missing a hue, wait rather than inventing a feed.

The how to play page explains why a mouse is nicer than a stick for this hunt. The apartment is pretty. It is also a checklist.

Community list versus this list

Launch discussion titled “List of colored items” exists because the game does not pause to lecture. We will add rows when a patch or a trustworthy full-game guide names new objects. We will not copy a random screenshot of someone’s fridge and call it lore.

If your board does not match this table after a patch, check the updates hub. Color traps are the kind of thing a hotfix can change. Until then: grapes are purple, crawfish are blue, gifts are red, the plant is green, Flora is your friend, and orange fish food is not red.

When the list is complete enough that every HUD dot has two sources, the true ending becomes a conversation puzzle instead of a pantry puzzle. That is the goal.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Is this every colored item in Crush Landing?

No. It is every object we can source from previews and playthroughs. Orbit the apartment for anything this table does not name.

What color are Flora’s flowers?

They are a restock for missing hues, not a single fixed color. Take them whenever she offers.

Can I feed the same grapes twice?

You can try. The puzzle will not take a second purple as progress. See how to feed Hheily.

Where should I go after I inventory everything?
